The Turbos have been named for their shield clash with Waikato.

The Turbos coaching staff have opted to make six changes from their heart stopping win over Southland last Friday. Two changes have been made in the front row with Fraser Armstrong starting at loosehead with Chris Eves taking up a spot on the bench. Hunter Prescott comes into the starting line-up and will be hoping to replicate his accuracy at lineout time from last Friday.

In the tight Tom Parsons will bring his aerial ability into the fray from the kick off a move that sees Jackson Hemopo take a spot at blindside flanker. As a result, Valentino Mapapalangi moves to the bench as a versatile replacement covering lock but with the ability to play in the loose too.

Heiden Bedwell-Curits moves back to number and will be aiming to replicate his dominance from the back of the scrum in week one whilst brining his usual intensity.

The back line remains unchanged whilst on the bench Travis Taylor comes in a reserve hooker and Tukiterangi Raimona comes back into the side on the bench as the other reserve prop alongside Chirs Eves. Jamie Booth takes up the halfback reserve spot whilst Nathan Tudreu will be hoping to make an impact off the bench in what will be his first game following an injury in club rugby.
