Former Turbos first five Jade Te Rure will have a shorter off season than usual with new club Edinburgh.

After the Turbos released Jade Te Rure to chase his international dream in Scotland the young first five has wasted no time in securing a more permanent position in the Edinburgh squad.

Demonstrating the poise that many Turbos fans have come to expect from the No 10. Te Rure quickly graduated from playing for the Edinburgh A trial side to playing in the Clubs top side. Coming into the side late in the season Jade appeared four times for his new team.

The Edinburgh coaches gave Te Rure his first start ahead of his second game for the team. Playing against Ospreys Te Rure scored 1 try, 1 Conversion and 1 Penalty in his sides 24-16 win over the Swansea based team. Jade’s contribution ensured a drastic turn around to when the two teams had previously met in September 2014, a game that saw Edinburgh lose by 49 points.

Now at the close of the season Jade Te Rure and the rest of his teammates have completed an end of season conditioning program before heading into their off season. Te Rure will report back to Edinburgh come July 1st when the teams Pre Season preparation starts in what will be a considerably shorter off season then he is perhaps been accustomed to. A challenge that all Turbos fans will agree Te Rure will meet head on.
