The Manawatu Turbos are pleased to confirm that LawnMaster will return to the Turbos’ jersey in 2019.
LawnMaster along with parent company Steelfort, have been one of the Turbos’ largest supporters and were a regular on the Turbos jersey until last season.
Manawatu Rugby Union chief executive Shannon Paku met with Steelfort managing director John McOviney earlier this year to discuss the direction of the union.
From there, McOviney agreed for a return to a partnership with the Manawatu Turbos.
The LawnMaster logo will feature on the left collar of the jersey.
Paku said it was great to have such an influential Manawatu business commit to the team.
“It shows that they are confident in the direction of the team and the union as a whole. LawnMaster and Steelfort’s support over the years has been invaluable and we are extremely fortunate to have businesses like Steelfort in behind us as it is key to resourcing a successful team in the Mitre 10 Cup while also looking after the future of the game at the grassroots level.”
The Turbos jersey will once again feature Higgins on the front chest, while Norwood will also return on the left sleeve and PTS on the right collar.
Ronald McDonald House sits on top back.
The lower back will be split by Turbos forward pack sponsor #PalmyProud, Turbos backline sponsor McIntosh Farm Machinery and Cranes and Turbos reserve bench sponsors Melody’s New World.
Each player jersey is also sponsored by individual sponsors: 1 - Volvo Trucks, 2 – Hino Trucks, 3 - Mack Trucks, 4 – Distinction Hotel, 5 - Machinery Specialists, 6 – Humphries Construction, 7 – Yorb, 8 – Gary Douglas Engineering, 10 – Capture Signs, 11 – DTSL, 12 – Telcospec, 13 - Clarke Underground, 14 – Bell Booth, 15 – McDonalds Manawatu, 16 – Kubota, 17 – Novalok Storage Systems, 18 – DH painting and decorating, 19 – ProFab Engineering, 20 – Dominator, 21 – Black Bull Manawatu, 22 – Manawatu Security Fencing, 23 – Café Cuba.
